The Podcast
1. Carry a Book Around
Some people, as I’ve said before, are busy and can’t be at home 24/7. To make reading a habit, I would recommend carrying a book or two around with you. If that’s the physical book or a book located on your device.
This is really handy because no matter where you are, you’re able to read. This means that making reading a habit will be much easier because you have access to a book! Whenever your waiting in line for something or sitting at the doctor’s office!
It doesn’t really matter, but at least you can read! Another alternative is audiobooks. Those are super helpful as well because you can constantly listen to a book, at double the speed.
2. Make Time For Reading
Because of this worldwide pandemic, some people are not as busy, and may not need tip one. But even so, some people, like me, suffer from procrastination.. so this tip will come I handy.
Even if you are busy. Look at your schedule and think of what you have to do throughout the day. Then chose the extra 5-20 mins you have during the day and use that time for reading! This is really important for those who just wanna go on their phones and do anything but read!
Really motivated yourself to read on those extra times of the day. This is super helpful for me and hopefully, it would be the same for you!
3. Cut Back Internet Usage
Personally, this is the most important. The main reason people don’t have time or just don’t feel like reading is because of internet usage. It’s a big problem and to help solve that, you should cut back using the internet. Yes, that means your phone, computer, tv, and others.
I get it, it’s a hard task. But it’s going to be worth it. Because of this, you can learn some information about your book, relax a bit more, and this is also healthy for you! So keep this tip in mind whenever trying to make reading a habit, because this can really benefit you!
Thanks for Listening!
Alright guys, thank you so much for listening! I hope you keep these tips in mind, and they help you when trying to make reading a habit. So, without further ado, let’s get into out official readability ending!
