This next segment is something I like to call, episode kickoff! Self-explanatory, huh? We kick off the episode with any questions, comments, or concerns you guys have

! I will be letting you all know any new updates or plans for future episodes and more!

For this kickoff, I’ll be answering the most basic questions to the best of my ability! There will occasionally be a guest with me, but for our first episode, we don’t!

Hello Readers! I’m Your Readability host, Ashlee Kelsen!

One quick thing I want to mention is that in this episode I will not be reading anything, this episode is only me explaining what readability is! so let’s get started.

Facts Segment

This is the segment I do, very rarely, that lets me give some quick information on new books, me and progress so far!

For the first episode, it’ll be all about me. What do I do? What do I like to read, etc!

This will be short.

I am your host, Ashlee Kelsen, and I love to read books. It’s a way to escape the world and hop into adventures the protagonist has to experience. It’s so fun and interesting! If your thinking I sound young, it’s because I am.

I am about to read, the Night Garden by Polly Horvath. I won’t be saying anything until I read it on Readability. I am on the Battle of the Books team at my school. And I think It was a good choice to join the team. So if anyone is interested in joining any Battle of the Books team at their school, and you love to read, I totally recommend it.

My favorite genres are a mystery and a little bit of fantasy. I love the twists authors put into mystery books, it so interesting and keeps me on the edge of my seat, even if it doesn’t seem like it. Maybe someday I could write one. You never know!

That’s all I’m sharing in this week’s episode of Readability. I may or may not do another segment next week, it all depends if I have something to share that week.

Before I end this episode, I just wanted to thank Anchor again for sponsoring this episode. I adore Anchor so much for what they do for inspiring podcasters. Once again, to download Anchor go to Anchor.fm or download it on the App Store.
